This is part of the cycle “Opening the Pandora Box of Social Evils”. Social chronic problems need to be cured and not only palliated. Paradoxically, opening the “box” of these problems allows curing them while closing it only palliates them and increases their destructive power.

2012, the Year of the Possible

This year The Unicist Research Institute has celebrated the 35th anniversary with the most fruitful research effort in their history having finished more than 600 researches including some of them than demanded far more than 20 years (consciousness, unified field of human adaptive systems, etc). They made 600 new aspects in the field of individual, institutional and social fields become possible.

The unicist approach is based on finding out what is possible in order to focus on it. The unicist approach deals with the “possible”, defined as a noun. It has to be considered that a possibility is a conditional situation while the “possible” is an assertive fact.

What is possible sustains success. Everything that is possible can be achieved. But this has a problem: while it provides the security of what can be done, it demands the freedom of assuming the responsibility for doing it.

The crises in the world happen because something was not “possible” but this situation was disregarded. Failures are always a consequence of someone trying to do something impossible or of something possible that was not done because people did not assume the responsibility.

That is why The Unicist Research Institute promotes:

Business Architecture: Tweetinar on Back2Back Design

The history of the “Unicist Extreme Design” taxonomical research began in the early eighties. This methodology does not apply to artistic design.

A unicist ontological design of a given reality requires the knowledge of the involved concepts. Therefore, the discovery of conceptual structures precedes the design activity.

It took many years to research the conceptual structures of most of the objects related to human activity. Now, with the available conceptual knowledge bank, the design of complex solutions has been made possible without needing to research while designing.

The major problems of human designs are their incompatibility with the nature of the objects being designed.

When designing solutions, there is usually insufficient time to research the concepts involved. To solve this problem, the operational function of the object is usually considered as representative of its concept. This solution is very practical but insufficient when designing differentiated objects.

The knowledge of concepts is unnecessary when designing objects ruled by common sense (conventional wisdom).

This technology was named Unicist XD – Extreme Design – because of its homologous relation with the XP – Extreme Programming – technology.

The human approach to strategy is defined as the conscious planning of human beings to influence the environment when such environment is uncertain, risky, complex or conflictive.

Influencing implies that the actions of a developed strategy will occur in the future.

The unicist strategic approach implies the building of a natural complementation with the “client” and a competitive strategy with “competitors”.

Strategy building implies a conscious behavior; therefore it implies intuitive but also emotional and rational conducts. Respecting taxonomies diminishes the risk of fallacies and paradoxical results. Pilot testing is necessary to secure the validity of a strategy.

35th Anniversary of The Unicist Research Institute

June 1976 was the beginning of the research of evolution in the field of complexity science. It was focused on approaching the nature of reality which required an ontological approach to the basic research and an object driven approach in the field of application.

The research drove to the discovery of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature, the unicist ontology, the unicist logic, the complexity science research methodology and the human ontointelligence.

This provided the basic knowledge to develop more than 3,500 applicative researches in the field of individual, institutional and social evolution that were finished until September 2010. The research work is still ongoing.

Unicist Tweetinar: the use of unicist business objects

The use of business objects makes business processes flow in a natural way. The use of ontology based business objects allows inserting them into work processes to increase their added value and reduce their costs.

Energy saving is the core of the use of unicist business objects. It requires understanding the processes and the use of the objects as encapsulated adaptive systems developed to produce predefined results.

The coming of a new year is a good moment to look at oneself in the mirror of actions and results and seize the talents one has.

We would like to give an alternative path to avoid falling into the anti-talents that destroy the individual and take him to parallel realities.

The one who ignores is blind.
The one who ignores but thinks he doesn’t,
is not only blind but deaf.
But if he needs to be recognized by others and talks,
besides being blind and deaf, he is a fool.

The antidote is to use the mirror of one’s actions measured in terms of results. When the proposed results are achieved, we are in the field of our talents.

Unicist Innovation Marketing: developing influence

Introducing an innovation requires having a high level of influence. If there is no influence, the introduction of an innovation is a utopia. When the level of influence is high, then the innovation can be taken if there is a strong need from the potential user/consumer.

The need of the innovation, which is different to the need of a product, defines the buying argument and the influence defines the selling argument.

When selling innovations, specialties are driven by demonstration and shopping goods are driven by the use value.

The power of the brand, its history, its role of authority in the market and the clients are some of the elements that can define the level of influence. There are no neutral points: they catalyze or inhibit the acceptance of the innovation.

Developing influence in a market implies developing the catalyzing elements that accelerate the acceptance of the innovation and its multiplication.
