This is part of the cycle “Opening the Pandora Box of Social Evils”. Social chronic problems need to be cured and not only palliated. Paradoxically, opening the “box” of these problems allows curing them while closing it only palliates them and increases their destructive power.

The Unicist Research Institute promotes: 2012, the year of the “Possible”.

This year The Unicist Research Institute has celebrated the 35th anniversary with the most fruitful research effort in their history having finished more than 600 researches including some of them than demanded far more than 20 years (consciousness, unified field of human adaptive systems, etc). They made 600 new aspects in the field of individual, institutional and social fields become possible.

The unicist approach is based on finding out what is possible in order to focus on it. The unicist approach deals with the “possible”, defined as a noun. It has to be considered that a possibility is a conditional situation while the “possible” is an assertive fact.

What is possible sustains success. Everything that is possible can be achieved. But this has a problem: while it provides the security of what can be done, it demands the freedom of assuming the responsibility for doing it.

The crises in the world happen because something was not “possible” but this situation was disregarded. Failures are always a consequence of someone trying to do something impossible or of something possible that was not done because people did not assume the responsibility.

That is why The Unicist Research Institute promotes:

2012, the year of the “Possible”

The unicist ontogenetic map of leadership allows understanding the type of leadership necessary to manage a specific activity in an existing environment.

On September 27 at 4:00 pm New York time there will be a Unicist Tweetinar on The Ontogenetic Map of Leadership (DNA) led by Diana Belohlavek.

Influential leaders are doers in their field. They may be artists, football players, businessmen / women, politicians or whatsoever. Their common characteristic is that leaders need to make things happen.

The Unicist Ontology of Leadership describes the ontogenetic map that defines the natural way an individual is able to exert leadership maximizing results and minimizing conflicts.

The Unicist Standard for leadership is based on establishing procedures to foster a leadership style that is functional to the goals that need to be achieved. Essentially, leadership implies the integration of authority, participation and power. This is self evident.

The questions that will be answered during the Unicist Tweetinar are:

What is the benefit of managing the ontogenetic map of leadership?

Why does the knowledge of the DNA of leadership help to build the authority of the leader?

How can organizational consensus be managed?

Does participation expand the power of leadership?

What is a democratic leadership in hierarchical organizations?

When is it necessary to exert a non-democratic leadership?

What is the implication of reverted leadership?

We recommend watching the video on this subject in order to find your responses to these questions:

In this research you will find the structure of objects to be used in organizations and the concepts required to design them.

Globalization, technological advance and the tendency to handle more and more complex systems with an increasing ambiguity level have made it necessary to develop a working processes management technology which would enable the increase of the generated and received added value and the reduction in costs so as to allow a global competition.

This led to the development of organizational metamodels between the years 1981 and 1986 which would allow an organizational design capable of handling both cross-cultural and cultural realities at the same time. Besides, it had to be useful for generating an accuracy rate in relations so that technology could guarantee success and men produced the incremental added value.

That is how the models of Personalized Organization and Client Centered Management were born at the time. They were the cross-cultural models with cultural use to sustain a simultaneous increase in value, productivity and quality.

As a result of the use of the Personalized Organization Model and the Client Centered Management integrated with the Organization Model responding to the business values, the Natural Organization Model was born.

Later, the developments of the object oriented systems spread worldwide and they enabled the creation of a bridge between the computer technologies and the organizational developments that boomed as regards object oriented working processes.

Following questions will be answered during the Tweetinar:

What is unicist object driven organization?

How are processes defined?

How are objects, to integrate processes defined?

Why starting with the processes and not with the objects one has?

How is the mission (objectives) of the object driven organization defined?

Why is the vision the catalyst of the object driven organization?

Why are the action plans the entropy inhibitor of the object driven organization?

Everybody has a talent. For some people it is easier to get aware of them than for others. Talents are as diverse as the action fields of human beings.

Only when goals are achieved talents can be recognized as such. These achievements are not necessarily contemporaneous with the action. Nobody doubts that Van Gogh and Nikola Tesla were talented. But when the talent largely exceeds the existing paradigms, individuals are marginalized by the environment.

Talents are discovered when people act in their environment. Talents are perceived through the difference compared to others. When an individual is using his talent he is perceived as:

1) Focused: Talent implies the “alignment or neural circuits” to achieve a goal.
2) Natural: When a talent has been trained, it flows naturally in its field of action.
3) Credible: People who use their talents are consistent and therefore credible.
4) Convinced: When adults use their talents they are sure about what they are doing.
5) Self-criticism: The most notorious characteristic of talent is the implicit capacity for self-criticism. Self-criticism is what fosters personal improvement and implicitly develops one’s talents.

Following questions will be answered during the Tweetinar:

What is ethical intelligence for?

What is the use of strategic intelligence?

What are the types of thought based on?

When should people be taught and when should learning be fostered?

What types of talents are necessary in organizations?

What talents are needed to develop maximal strategies and which one are necessary for minimum strategies?

What talents are needed to deal with business architecture?

The Unicist Standard for Business Objects Building allows maximizing the effectiveness of organizations.

Unicist Business Objects are adaptive systems that have been developed to provide a specific result.

Business Objects are complex adaptive systems integrated by sub-systems that work as interdependent objects.

They save energy, usually more than 30%, due to their characteristic of following the taxonomy that is within the nature of the business process that is being solved.

Following questions will be answered during the Tweetinar

What is a unicist business object?

How does a business object work?

What is needed to integrate business objects into processes?

What types of objects exist to be used in businesses?

Under which circumstances there is no possibility to use objects

What happens when objects fail?

How are objects built?

Managing questions makes the introjection of the needs of the market possible; managing answers implies projecting one’s decisions.

Businesses are, by definition, conscious activities to satisfy needs. Businessmen/women can approach these needs based on the answers they have or based on the questions they pose.

Selling only “black cars” is an answer driven approach; researching which color of cars are desired is a question driven approach.

People who do what they believe are answer driven. People who do what is needed are question driven.

Question driven businesses are, by nature, “liberal” because the input comes from the needs of the market. Answer driven businesses are “conservative” because the needs are defined by the businessmen/women.

Minimum strategies of businesses, which are those that are under the control of a company, can be managed with answers. Methods, rules and guidelines are defined ways to develop an activity and are homologous to what we call answers.

Maximal strategies of companies, which expand the boundaries of businesses, need to be managed based on the questions. The problem is to understand what the market is saying. The answers are, by definition, ambiguous and require understanding the unified field of the business in order to be interpreted.

Maximal strategies require “liberals” and minimum strategies require “conservatives” to manage businesses.

Managing questions makes the introjection of the needs of the market possible; managing answers implies projecting one’s decisions. Business modeling requires both approaches to be successful.

A unicist ontological design of a given reality requires the knowledge of the involved concepts. Therefore, the discovery of conceptual structures precedes the design activity.

The history of the “Unicist Extreme Design” taxonomical research began in the early eighties. This methodology does not apply to artistic design.

A unicist ontological design of a given reality requires the knowledge of the involved concepts. Therefore, the discovery of conceptual structures precedes the design activity.

It took many years to research the conceptual structures of most of the objects related to human activity. Now, with the available conceptual knowledge bank, the design of complex solutions has been made possible without needing to research while designing.

The major problems of human designs are their incompatibility with the nature of the objects being designed.

When designing solutions, there is usually insufficient time to research the concepts involved. To solve this problem, the operational function of the object is usually considered as representative of its concept. This solution is very practical but insufficient when designing differentiated objects.

The knowledge of concepts is unnecessary when designing objects ruled by common sense (conventional wisdom).

This technology was named Unicist XD – Extreme Design – because of its homologous relation with the XP – Extreme Programming – technology.

Values underlying the Unicist XD:

Simplicity
Foundations
Creativity
Responsibility
Respect
Confidence and self-Confidence

The questions that will be answered during the Unicist Tweetinar are:

What is a Back2Back methodology?

When is it necessary and when is it unnecessary?

Why is it needed to have the knowledge of the concept that underlies the problem being solved?

How do people need to be trained to work Back2Back?

How does the “idea of the concept”, starting point of the methodology, looks like?

Which environments are incompatible with this methodology?

How does the real-time design process works?

Etymologically, diagnosis means discerning, distinguishing. The everyday use of the word also implies seeking for the causes of a problem.

Etymologically, diagnosis means discerning, distinguishing. The everyday use of the word also implies seeking for the causes of a problem.

From a conceptual point of view, diagnoses are made to forecast and to exert influence on a reality. The level of the groundings upon which diagnoses are based defines its level of accuracy.

Diagnoses necessarily include intuitive aspects when approaching new situations. The difference between diagnoses does not lie in the intuitive approach, but in the processing of the information that intuition offers.

We have identified five levels of diagnoses:

1) Intuitive-analogical
2) Descriptive
3) Static
4) Causal
5) Functional

Intuitive-analogical diagnosis

The intuitive diagnosis approaches reality from the subjective perceptions of an individual. It does not use groundings to validate intuition, just intuitive analogies.

Descriptive diagnosis

The outcome of this diagnosis is a description of the visible physical aspects of a reality. This diagnosis can help to solve simple problems.

The static diagnosis

This diagnosis is based on the analysis of a reality. It is called static because in order to analyze something, we need to consider it as a fixed situation in time and circumstances. This diagnosis helps solving simple problems in areas which involve formal or rational components.

The causal diagnosis

The causal diagnosis is a systemic approach to reality. It is a systemic diagnosis that analyzes the functional

ity of a given reality. It sustains the solution of complex problems with low ambiguity levels.

The functional diagnosis

This diagnosis is based on the understanding of the functional concepts that underlay a given reality. The functional diagnosis is necessary for the solution of highly complex problems with ambiguous components.

The secure diagnosis

A diagnosis is “secure” when it includes all levels of analysis. Secure knowledge has been achieved when this condition has been fulfilled. Secure knowledge requires a high investment of energy. Therefore people often prefer to use reliable but not secure diagnoses, and control the evolution of a given reality in order to validate the accuracy of such diagnoses.

The questions that will be answered during the Unicist Tweetinar are:

What are business diagnoses for?

What are intuitive diagnoses for?

What are functional diagnostics based on?

What is mathematical validation of diagnoses for?

What are conceptual validation model for?

What is the 5 why methodology for?

Which are the 5 why that need to be answered?

The more ethical the buying process is, the less legitimate the influence on buyers. The more massive the buying process, the less it is influenced by rationality.

In a wide sense, it can be said that the more object-driven a relationship between a prospect and a product is, the easier the individual can buy a product. If we consider the buying taxonomy (AIDA), we will see that there are three different approaches to buy: the rational, the ethical and the impulsive approach.

Why is marketing a complex problem?

Are there individuals involved in the object driven marketing process?

Why is it necessary to begin with a personal communication and close with a personal closing process?

Are brochure objects or communications? What is the difference between communication and marketing objects?

What conditions needs to be given to use this type of marketing?
